Pantone Color of the Year 2017

Pantone has selected their Color of the Year 2017 and it is….(drum roll please):

Greenery!

Said to be symbolic of new beginnings. Greenery is fresh and evokes that feeling of spring, nature and the lushness of the great outdoors.

Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute states:

“Greenery bursts forth in 2017 to provide us with the reassurance we yearn for amid a tumultuous social and political environment,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, in a statement.

She continued: “Satisfying our growing desire to rejuvenate and revitalize, Greenery symbolizes the reconnection we seek with nature, one another and a larger purpose.”

As always we cannot wait to see how brides and event planners go about incorporating greenery in all the amazing events in 2017. We envision Green colored jewels, green flowers and trees. Add a dash of luxurious blending with gold and white. This is sure to charm at outdoor weddings, in bridal bouquets and on table decors this year. See our vision board below to get your creative juices flowing.

What is the Pantone Color of the Year?

A symbolic color selection. A color snapshot of what we see taking place in our global culture that serves as an expression of a mood and an attitude.
